Michael
and Jeremy have been begging mom and dad to let them camp out in the
area behind our house for most of the summer. Dad said he really
didn't want to have to dig the tent out our the attic and get it set
up. The boys finally talked him into it because the promised to not
only get the tent out and set up but to also put it back up there
when they are done.
Mom let them pack the new cooler with food and of course they took stuff to make s'mores. Jeremy even brought his guitar. He just started taking lessons so he can only play like one actual song but he really loves it anyway.
The
boys set up their tent close to the biggest tree. It is just at the
edge of the wooded area and it has a nice clear area so they could
have a campfire close to the tent.
I
snuck out and took some pictures of them just after they got set up.
Michael hadn't even come back to pick up their sleeping bags yet. I
think they forgot all about them in the excitement of getting their
camp set up. I guess they will figure it out later.
I
wonder what they took to eat? Knowing those boys probably just junk
food. I doubt there is a single vegetable in that cooler. LOL
Maybe
Chelsea and Molly and I can borrow the tent before the cold weather
starts and have a camp out too. If not there's always next year.
